The WX5FWD SKYWARN® Team is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The WX5FWD SKYWARN® Team organization is entirely supported by volunteers and donations. Although the NWS facilitates us to operate from the forecast office and their tower, the radio desk equipment and time are provided by volunteers and donations.

Volunteers and others donate, construct or support the radios and antenna systems. This includes twelve remote base radio systems, VHF/UHF antennas and the HF radio system. Volunteers donate or support Radio over Internet Protocol (Allstar / IRLP / EchoLink) systems and services for access to SKYWARN spotters in areas we cannot reach directly. Our team also provides a weather message alert service using the Weather Message software and a messaging application server. There are monthly subscriptions for servers to provide Allstar, EchoLink and IRLP VPN and PROXY services. Not to mention this web site. Also radio desk computers, software subscriptions, maintenance and repair.

All of your contribution will be used for the WX5FWD SKYWARN Team radio desk equipment and systems, excluding transaction fees (PayPal or credit card).
